Timeweb Cloud is a geo-distributed IaaS/PaaS provider (Managed Kubernetes, DBaaS, S3, LBaaS, VPCs). We are hiring a Middle/Senior Systems Administrator focused on non-standard server configurations, complex incidents, and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate complex problems: analyze logs, traces, metrics for root causes; understand Python service code
- Design and deploy distributed systems in production; optimize virtualization hosts and network dataplane (NUMA, IRQ/RPS, I/O, schedulers)
- Write Bash/Python automation; use config management (SaltStack/Ansible)
- Set up monitoring (Zabbix); participate in on-call and escalations
