As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for operating and advancing Hostinger’s global DNS platform, one of the top DNS providers worldwide. This critical system supports tens of petabytes of data across 12 data centers. Your role includes provisioning and scaling DNS infrastructure, optimizing zone distribution, fine-tuning DNS propagation, and ensuring low-latency resolution worldwide. You will automate DNS deployment and configuration using tools like Ansible and Terraform, enhance observability, and troubleshoot complex DNS issues to maintain maximum uptime and accuracy. Collaboration with product and infrastructure teams is key to evolving DNS architecture, strengthening security, and supporting new customer-facing features. Daily tasks involve deploying DNS servers, scaling infrastructure, designing resilient DNS systems, monitoring performance, automating workflows, diagnosing incidents, and driving innovation in DNS operations. Candidates should have advanced Linux skills (Debian, Red Hat), DNS systems experience including PDNS, MySQL clustering, LMDB backends, DNSSEC, Anycast delivery, performance tuning, monitoring, and attack mitigation. Proficiency in automation tools, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, and commitment to meeting Service Level Objectives is essential. Strong communication skills in Lithuanian and English are required.
