The Securities Analytics and Products Group at GoDaddy is seeking a dedicated Senior Software Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain secure, fault-tolerant, and globally performant microservices-based software solutions deployed on AWS cloud. Key responsibilities include extensive unit and integration testing to ensure code quality, investigating and resolving production issues, contributing to technical documentation, conducting code reviews, and mentoring fellow engineers. The role involves working with both relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and MongoDB, with emphasis on scalable and consistent data models. The engineer will build observability into services through logs, metrics, and traces to ensure performance and uptime, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams. Required technical skills include proficiency in Go, Python, React, and Typescript, familiarity with UI frameworks such as React or Angular, and working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Fargate, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch. Experience with CI/CD workflows, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and agile methodologies is essential, along with strong version control skills using Git. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
