GoDaddy is seeking a Principal Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Developer Experience team, working remotely from Colombia. This senior role involves writing great code, creating unit and integration tests, and participating in the planning, architecture, implementation, and maintenance of client and server-side platforms and tools used across GoDaddy’s product teams. The engineer will perform code reviews, promote coding best practices, engage in operations, release, and on-call activities, and improve technical documentation. Collaboration with engineers and stakeholders at various levels of the company is a key part of this role, with a focus on delivering broad impact solutions. Required experience includes working in agile development teams, 6+ years as a Software Development Engineer, expertise with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), strong JavaScript skills (client and server), proficiency in low-level languages (C/C++, Java, Rust, Golang), and designing scalable APIs and microservices. Knowledge of modern front-end technologies like React, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles is essential, along with an understanding of web technologies such as HTTP and JSON. Experience with DevOps, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures is also important. Preferred qualifications include building schema-driven UI and implementing feature flagging or experimentation systems.
