Job Description

As a Senior Hardware Engineer – Operations Service Manager at GoDaddy, you will lead repair, refurbishment, and fulfillment centers, ensuring efficient production, warranty validation, parts management, recovery rates, turnaround times, and compliance with quality standards and SLAs. You will also manage repair service purchase orders, invoices, and relationships with service partners, including negotiating terms and pricing. The role involves providing technical support and training to partners, setting up processes, implementing engineering change orders, and validating operations. Your focus will be on continuous improvement through optimizing RMA and repair processes, launching new centers, and selecting new partners. You will conduct hardware testing on field-returned devices, analyze return data for quality and operational performance, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance product recovery rates and quality. The role also includes overseeing device deactivation, ensuring PCI compliance for non-repairable devices, and detailed cost tracking and reporting. This position requires working onsite full-time at the Santa Clara office. Required qualifications include 2+ years in repair service operations with RMA knowledge, 10+ years in consumer electronics manufacturing with engineering and test experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally. Preferred experience includes Android software, hardware testing, and smart POS terminals expertise.
