Your role at Hostinger Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) As Hostinger continues to grow in scale, infrastructure complexity, and global presence, we are looking for a technically strong CISO to lead the next phase of our security evolution. This is not a purely administrative or compliance-driven role.

We are looking for a leader with deep technical understanding who can define long-term security strategy, shape architectural direction, and elevate cyber risk management to executive level – while staying close to engineering, software development and infrastructure realities. You will work directly with executive leadership and collaborate closely with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Product teams to ensure Hostinger remains secure, scalable, and trusted by millions of customers worldwide.   • Advanced English (spoken & written).
  • Experience in hosting, SaaS, or high-scale infrastructure environments.
  • Background in scaling security organizations from operational to strategic maturity.
  • Experience working in fast-growth technology companies.
  • Previous experience building security architecture in cloud-native environments.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or similar.
  • Experience interacting with regulators or external auditors.
  • Compensation

    • Gross salary starting from 7500 EUR. Specific compensation is offered based on work experience, competence, and compliance with other job requirements.

    Job requirements

    • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong hands-on background earlier in your career.
    • Proven expertise in cloud-native platforms (GCP preferred), IAM, infrastructure security, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and internet-facing services, and large-scale distributed systems.
    • Strong understanding of modern detection and response ecosystems (SIEM, EDR, XDR, CDR, logging, telemetry).
    • Experience reviewing or designing enterprise-level security architectures.
    • Ability to understand complex infrastructure end-to-end.
    • Experience building or guiding scalable security control models.
    • Strong grasp of attacker behavior, threat modeling, and risk-based prioritization.
    • Experience leading security teams or senior security professionals.
    • Comfortable operating at executive and board level.
    • Proven ability to align security direction with business growth.
    • Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIS2).
    • Experience overseeing vendor risk and risk acceptance processes.
    • Ability to maintain strong compliance posture without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
    • Ability to translate technical risk into clear business language.
    • Confident executive presence.
