Job Description

  • Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within a job discipline

    Key Responsibilities

  • Other Incidental tasks related to the job, as necessary.

  • Utilizes provided information to contact potential customers regarding Rackspace products.

  • Conduct needs analysis and determine prospects pain points to determine how the Rackspace solution will speak to those needs. Researches market segments to identify potential customers and makes first contact.

  • Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce the Rackspace solutions and identify appropriate buyers within the target market.

  • Prepare and analyze leads pipeline reports and dashboards.

    Knowledge

  • Entry Level knowledgeable in professional sales training and sales process

  • Entry Level understanding of the processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work and familiarity with the broader underlying concepts in own job discipline

  • Entry Level knowledge of Rackspace product portfolio, strategy, competitors, and customers
