YOUR ROLE::
• As a Content Marketing Manager at SiteGround, you’ll drive the success of our product portfolio, including our latest in-house built products, such as our Website and Ecommerce SaaS platform, applied AI products, and our established web hosting services.
• You’ll be responsible for proposing and crafting different types of content – digital campaigns, landing pages, web copy, print, blog articles, sponsored content articles, video or audio scripts – for different products, audiences, market segments, and client profiles. Speaking their language, you’ll be in charge of clearly communicating what they need to know to help them run their website, or online business better using SiteGround’s products and services.
• You need to be able to take a complicated piece of technology or software and make it sound simple and inspiring, and simplify messaging into a logical story. You’ll be working with the rest of our marketing team on a content calendar, planning content, researching topics in depth, writing blog or long-form articles, producing ebooks, audio, video and webinar scripts, refining website and ad copy on a daily basis.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES::
• Content ideation: coming up with ideas for different content pieces that serve the company’s business goals and cater to the target users’ needs.
• Execution: producing the actual content for the approved projects, which includes writing content, working with designers and video team on video and online courses recording and post-production, planning and moderating webinars, etc. A detailed list of items you will be working on follows: Blog posts; Ad copy; Website copy; Ebooks; Webinar scripts; Podcast scripts; Video tutorials; Online courses; Other approved content pieces.
• Content distribution and repurposing: coordinating with the rest of our marketing team, PPC Experts, Social Media Experts, and Web designers the design, deadlines, and distribution for each piece of content generated or suggested.
• Analysis and measurement of content performance to make informed decisions and adjustments on current and future content projects.
OUR EXPECTATIONS::
• Еxcellent, near native command of English, both written and spoken;
• 3+ years of experience planning and writing digital content, plus examples to prove it along with stats to show reach and engagement with the target audience;
• Ability to use storytelling to clearly explain complex concept, technology or processes;
• Ability to articulate new ideas, motivated and supported by a business logic;
• Good understanding of SEO principles and digital writing specifics;
• Experience with Content Calendar planning and execution;
• Thorough research and understanding of every topic before you tackle it;
• Ability to track, measure and report meaningful insights on content performance;
